Pig Shares
We have developed a program to allow people who are truly concerned about how their food is raised the chance to "raise" their own pigs. For only $450.00 you purchase a share of a sow. When your sow gives birth you get to keep two of her pigs which we will raise for you on pasture. At harvest time you will pay butcher fees (around $130.00 each) and we will deliver your pork. You can keep all of it or sell some to your neighbor or friend for a profit! A whole pork averages $400.00 plus cutting and wrapping fees! You get two whole porks for only $450.00 plus the cost of butcher and cut and wrap! Wondering why we would do this? We would like to expand our sow herd and this is a way that allows us to purchase a few more sows and at the same time give people a chance to get a real bargain! This can't be beat!
