Our farm is actually several patches of land that we lease.  We have a one acre
vegetable plot that has not had any chemical fertilizers or pesticides used on it in
over five years. We have a 15 acre black berry patch where we will pasture our pigs.
  
They get to eat the blackberries as well as the other "weeds" and help to clean up
the pasture so that it can eventually be used for other purposes.  If you have a
blackberry patch you would like to reclaim you can contact us to see how we can
help you while growing some of the best pork available.  We use the grassy areas
around our vegetable patch and the pork/berry patches to pasture our chickens,
turkeys and rabbits.  Nothing goes to waste.  Any weeds from our vegetable patch
also go to the pigs or poultry.

Our production is different from most other pig and poultry farms:

Our pastured pigs are allowed to roam freely, socialize, and engage in instinctive pig
behavior such as rooting, wallowing and foraging.
Sows are not crated. Instead, they give birth naturally, and raise their young
without interference.
They have free access to water and feed.
Sunshine and fresh air eliminate the need for any medications that factory farms
use to maximize production.

No hormone or antibiotic or anything not natural is given to our pigs.

The farm has no waste issues. Manure is returned to the soil where it is solarized
and becomes fertilizer.


Once you have tasted pastured pork, chicken, turkey, rabbits or beef, you will never
be satisfied with the tasteless watery versions available in the grocery stores.
